North of 49 Land Speed Racing Club
N49 Land Speed Racing Club is a group of like minded Hot Rodders and Speed Enthusiasts from the Calgary, Alberta area. The group formed out of a desire to build and campaign a vehicle in the "B/STR" class during the SCTA-BNI Speed Week held annually on the Bonneville Salt Flats of Utah. That goal met we have continued to strive for perfection by continually improving our vehicle in the hopes of someday attaining the B/STR record which presently stands at 214.515 MPH, set by the Barbee Boys in 2001.
