Non Competitive Cars at Speed Week 2004

No Grass, No Lawn Chairs

George and Don demonstrate what rods are generrally used for at Bonneville, getting araound. I caught them here taking a break while waiting for Hooley's stude to make a run. Many rodders use their cars for basic transportation on the salt. Its 3 miles from the pits to the start area, and rods make the perfect way to get from one to another. They look and feel right at home on the salt too, because Land Speed Racing forms a big chunk of the history of Rods.
