We're fortunate here at "North of 49" to have had Jeff Norwell join our crew in 2004 and create for us an outstanding rendering of "North of 49" at speed. The image of the truck flying down the salt flats leaps off the page! In fact it leapt right on to t-shirts available here!
Jeff also gave our flag carrying beaver a work over and has evolved our former sedentary rodent into a superhero mascot. It is our job now to make sure that we put as much effort into the truck as possible so that its performance reflects the spirit of Jeff's art.
Proceeds from T-shirt sales as well as the other items featured on this page help toward the costs of maintaining our Land speed Racing efforts. As we work to push the truck over 200 MPH and on toward our goal of the class record (214 and change) our wish list is never ending.
